The field-ready laptop is enabled with vehicle docking deployment for safety patrol workers to easily mount on the dashboard. Plus, the smaller footprint makes it easier to view over the dash.

A great deal of design attention was put into the various touchpoints of the system to deliver the durability needed for such a specialized product. The geometry of the door pick points, and the function of the seals themselves was iterated in detail to get to the ideal look, feel and function of the final user experience. Other design features like the display latch, removable handle, touchpad and display all had to take gloved use into consideration for the best user experience possible.
