Wanlin Art Museum of Wuhan University is one of the most prestigious of its kind in China. It is an illustration of a centralized location for students to honor and appreciate art.The visual design adopted ‘starting lines’ to exemplify the very beginning of young students’ endeavors and their aspiration for arts.

  • We visualized the initials of Mr. Wan Lin (father of Taikang Life Insurance's president) using 'starting lines' to exemplify the very beginning of young students' endeavors and their aspiration for arts. Located at the campus of Wuhan University, our creativity for this art museum needed to incorporate the following: an illustration of a centralized point for students to honor and appreciate art, while featuring aspects of a typical art gallery. It also had to be perceived as 'humanistic'. Since college students stand at the starting lines of their lives, this art museum acts as the opening chapter for their art appreciation.
