Ultra Link™ by Voltex is a miniaturised, access-first junctioning system designed around electricians. It brings termination out of hostile ceiling and cavity spaces by allowing installers to complete the junction in-room, then pass it through a 32mm cut-out while preserving junction capacity across lighting, sensor, power circuits and cabinetry installations.

  • Conventional junctioning forces electricians to work where access is worst: above ceilings, inside cavities, around heat, dust and insulation. Traditional boxes solve the connection, but ignore the installer’s working reality. The challenge was to redesign junctioning around access without reducing junction capability. Ultra Link had to let electricians complete terminations in-room, then pass the compact junction body through a standard 32mm cut-out — roughly the diameter of a 50-cent coin — while still accepting multiple conductors, supporting loop-through wiring, protecting terminations from strain, enabling fast inspection, accommodating sensor applications and meeting the safety expectations of a trusted junction solution.

  • Voltex considered every millimetre of the 31 x 74mm body. Deep terminal tunnels accept up to four 2.5mm² conductors, giving each cable meaningful entry, seating and separation inside the compact form. A fourth loop terminal provides a dedicated point for additional active conductors needed in lighting installations, while a miniature thread-and-screw architecture gives each tunnel enough depth for a single grub screw to clamp. A 270mm pre-terminated, bootlaced lead reduces on-site wiring by resolving the outgoing connection before installation. A transparent insulating cover, integrated hinge, cable anchor and structural fixing points make the body inspectable, serviceable, strain-protected and secure.

  • Ultra Link reshapes the daily reality of electrical work by reducing time spent in hot, dusty and confined ceiling or cavity spaces. Completing terminations in-room, with immediate visual inspection and a pre-terminated lead, supports safer, cleaner, faster and more confident work across lighting, sensor, small-power and cabinetry applications. Its compact, independently validated 32mm lead format gives electricians a trusted alternative to bulky junctioning, without relaxing safety expectations. The inspectable, serviceable body and 25-year parts-and-labour warranty support longer service life and reduced replacement waste. Most importantly, Ultra Link gives design attention to the unseen physical demands behind concealed electrical work.

  • Ultra Link turns a standard 32mm cut-out into a junctioning point. Electricians can complete the termination in-room, then pass the compact body into ceiling, wall or cavity space. The 250V, 20A junction lead is engineered into a 31 x 74mm body weighing 52g without cable, treating every millimetre as working space.Deep terminal tunnels accept up to four 2.5mm² conductors, giving cables meaningful entry, seating and separation. A fourth loop terminal gives additional active conductors, often required in lighting, a dedicated destination inside the compact body. Even the clamping screw travel was deeply considered: each grub screw drives over 80% into the terminal tunnel, allowing installers to secure conductors with only one screw.A transparent insulating cover enables immediate visual inspection, with a tool-operable midline hinge for service access. Dedicated cable anchoring, flexible overmoulded parts and structural fixing points separate strain relief from the terminals.A 270mm pre-terminated outgoing lead with three 2.5mm² cores reduces on-site wiring, while bootlace ferrules bind the wire strands for clean insertion. The range includes a standard junction lead and a sensor-lighting variant incorporating switched wiring. Independent testing validates the electrical, thermal and mechanical performance of the miniature format, supporting a 25-year warranty.
