Additionally, the solution had to be optimised for "Mattress-in-a-Box" logistics to simplify large scale fit-outs in high density developments. The objective was to resolve the tension between uncompromising hygiene requirements and long term sustainable asset management.

The solution is a modular "System Mattress" that decouples the high wear sanitary face from the structural core. We designed a precision, full perimeter zipoff topper system using high durability fasteners to facilitate rapid, low-cost replacement between tenancies.To ensure universal comfort, we integrated ergonomic five-zone pocket spring system with a cooling gel-infused foam stack. By leveraging a strategic just in time supply chain for standalone toppers, we overcame the industry’s high volume manufacturing bias. This allows accommodation providers to achieve 100% hygienic refresh while diverting 85% of the product’s mass from landfill, ensuring long term operational and environmental circularity.

The Pro 5-Zone transforms the mattress from a disposable commodity into a circular asset. Environmentally, it diverts 66 tonnes of waste per 500 units over a decade by replacing only the 15% sanitary topper. Commercially, it reduces operational overhead by 90%, transforming a two-person logistical struggle into a rapid, single person maintenance task.
