SwannBuddy4K was developed through extensive user feedback and a multi-phase design process to create the first doorbell acting as a “virtual concierge” for homeowners. SwannBuddy4K is an easy-to-install 4K video doorbell and chime unit that can operate wire-free with a rechargeable battery or connect to existing doorbell wiring. Its sleek and compact form with an IP56 rating withstands the elements, and its 4K HD video and 4x digital zoom let users see details up close. It features a 165° viewing angle and 1:1 aspect ratio, infrared night vision and heat and motion-triggered alerts and recording so users get a complete picture of what’s happening on their doorstep and fewer false alarms. Additionally, SwannShield, the AI voice assistant can be personalised via the Swann Security app. Users can set ‘night’ or ‘away’ modes, tell it the address of their home, names of residents, and instructions of where deliveries should be placed. Users can configure its demeanour, choosing between polite, disinterested or aggressive; select the accent from 8 options, and benefit from easy updates and future scalability via the cloud. Each conversation is transcribed into the app and users can also step in if desired by opening the Swann Security app on their phone during the discussion. The doorbell includes free recording of clips to local memory via 326B MicroSD and secure cloud (24-hours rolling).
