Dulux Snapshot is the revolutionary new portable colour digitiser by Palette.

With the press of a button, Snapshot detects the colour of any surface to accurately identify the closest matching Dulux hue, allowing painters to order the right paint from a connected iOS or Android app.

Snapshot features Palette’s signature approach to product design and world-leading colour technology. With support from Dulux, Snapshot is the result of a unique collaboration between two Melbourne companies to bring Australian innovation to the global paint business.

Designed and delivered to market in an unprecedented 13 months, Snapshot was launched in Australia and New Zealand in January 2016.

  • Snapshot is the all-in-one portable colour matching device. With features like automatic matching to Dulux colours, automatic calibration, one-button operation and a camera-like lens dial, there is nothing quite like it. Its connected smartphone app lets you store, group and share your colours for endless colour possibilities. The compact design makes it easy to capture any colour from any surface, wherever you are.

  • With the press of a button Snapshot instantly digitises the colour of any surface and finds the three closest matching Dulux hues from over 4,500 pre-loaded colours in the Dulux World of Colour Atlas, giving you total control over the matching process. Your digitised colours are saved, and can be organised into project groups for personal recognition. You can also share your colour selections via email or social media.

  • Using Snapshot is a dream. The colour sensor automatically calibrates when it needs to for maximum colour accuracy, it automatically pairs to your iOS or Android device, and matched colours are automatically saved in the Snapshot app. Focus on the job at hand and leave the colour matching to Snapshot

  • Snapshot's stunning brushed aluminium cladding acts as a keying fixture for the one-of-a-kind rotating dial. The dial allows the white calibration tile to be built right into the design, maintaining maximum colour accuracy and protecting the colour sensor from wear and tear.
