  • During construction, infrastructure and industrial works, organisations must monitor vibration levels to keep within regulatory requirements and ensure the safety of work teams, nearby structures and communities. Monitoring and managing the impact of vibration has traditionally been difficult. Traditional vibration monitors are expensive and complex, requiring specialist consultants to operate. They are also large, cumbersome and require specific set-ups, which makes it difficult or impossible to monitor in some situations. Interpreting vibration data has also required specialist technical knowledge, as older vibration devices do not capture any contextual information.
