Aesthetically elegant 'Sfera' is a cylindrical centerpiece table bowl, made from Stainless Steel with a hidden rotating swivel base. Sfera XL is the largest of a 4 piece collection, from a pinch bowl to fruit bowl.

  • To design a centrepiece fruit bowl that is both delightful and functional. The piece should maintain simplicity of form balanced with a hidden swivel mechanism to create an element of wonder and surprise - trademarks of the Les Basic brand ethos.

  • Considerable research and development went into designing a sophisticated custom swivel mechanism, to provide an almost magical and silent movement that the user can’t perceive unless they interact with the piece.

  • The design is produced with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. the Stainless Steel bowl is fabricated with a mix of computerised cutting and hand welding and finished in a number of electroplated and powder coated colours.

  • The main design concept is the melding of 2 ideas/products, the humble fruit bowl and the practical lazy Suzan, into one simple and avant-garde solution. An elegant centrepiece or kitchen bowl that creates delight and a fun user experience.
