Most IT asset disposal stops at the back door. WV Technologies starts there. Hunt + Hawk built a brand, website and several campaigns for Australia’s first NAID-AAA certified data disposer — an Indigenous-owned social enterprise that turns decommissioned tech into jobs, e-waste into energy savings, and compliance into hard ESG wins.

  • WV Technologies does three things at once: secures enterprise data, diverts e-waste from landfill, and funds Indigenous employment through the Worldview Foundation. The challenge was building a brand and digital presence that made that case– clearly, to three completely different audiences. CISOs want certifications. CFOs want cost recovery. ESG leads want hard numbers. Each needed to see themselves in the same brand without the story feeling split. And the design had to earn enterprise trust without losing the authenticity of a certified social enterprise that pays salaries, not just respects, to First Australians.

  • Hunt + Hawk built the brand around a single, unbroken idea: the flowing 'W' logomark — a continuous path that carries the circular economy metaphor into every touchpoint. The interactive website was structured around 3 buyer personas, each surfacing a different problem and the same solution. Impact data — 120M kg of e-waste diverted, 2.5B kWh saved, 172 Indigenous jobs — became hero content. The site's architecture moves between government-grade compliance credentials and genuine social purpose without apology. The footer says it plainly: "We pay respects and pay salaries to first Australians past, present, emerging." The design extended across collateral & campaigns for Sustainability events.

  • Since launch: AFR Sustainability Leader List 2025. Supply Nation Indigenous Exporter of the Year. Social Traders Social Enterprise Pioneer. Speaking and exhibition presence at Australia's largest sustainability conferences. Enterprise clients including Telstra, EY, and Australian Government have attributed WV Technologies' credibility — and their own ESG wins — to the clarity and authenticity of the brand. The website turns complex compliance and social impact data into a single, coherent story. What was once hard to explain is now hard to ignore. It's all connecting the dots with forward-thinking IT asset disposal at scale — out of the box, not out the back door.

  • The most memorable interaction on wvtech.com.au is the cursor dot animation: move the mouse and a trail of dots follows. It's a quiet, elegant nod to "ones and zeroes" and "connecting the dots" – the two ideas at the core of the brand, built directly into the experience of navigating the site. The site also features a dynamic persona selector, ie. CEOs/CFOs, CIOs/CISOs, ESG/RAP leads – that surfaces a tailored problem statement and solution pathway for each audience without separate landing pages. One organisation, three entry points, no wasted words. The visual system uses a flowing, continuous-path motif drawn from the logomark, extending the circular economy metaphor across all touchpoints. Real-time impact statistics (e-waste diverted, energy savings, jobs created) are presented as hero metrics rather than footnoted data. The site's 'Firsts' section positions WVT as a thought leader in circular economy practice and Indigenous procurement. Certifications (NAID AAA, ISO 27001/14001/9001/45001, PSPF, AS/NZS 5377) are surfaced prominently to meet enterprise compliance requirements. A bespoke corporate brand film, produced by Hunt + Hawk, anchors the experience.
