Samsung also wanted to minimise noise in order to reduce disturbance and help to create better air hygiene by capturing certain dust, bacteria, virus, and allergens1.

Key innovations include the introduction of Wind-Free technology which removes the feeling of a draft on the skin by dispersing air through 23,000 micro air holes2. Tri-Care Filter, bringing genuine air purification to the market for the first time. It reduces fine dust, viruses, bacteria, and allergens so that users can breathe cleaner air. Fast Cooling enables homes to be cooled up to 43% faster, and a Twin Tube Muffler helps minimise noise.3

The Wind-Free Geo Split System has been designed with ease of use and home aesthetics in mind, including its wide display, so users can view both temperature and air quality information. It is the only room air conditioner in the market that provides this level of information on the unit itself. The system provides maximum comfort by removing the irritation of drafts on skin with its Wind-Free technology. It also helps reduces excessive energy consumption from the Digital Inverter Boost technology.4

The AI Auto Cooling feature is designed to analyses room conditions, user-preferred temperatures and cooling modes, and even the outdoor climate to automatically switch to the most appropriate setting and help to create an ideal temperature. The Auto Clean Function helps to keep the inside of the indoor unit clean by automatically drying the Heat Exchanger through a three-step process that removes moisture by blowing air for 10 to 30 minutes, this prevent the build-up of bacteria and odours.5 The design also offers an Easy Filter Plus washable filter. It’s made of a dense mesh, effective in capturing dust, while its anti-bacterial coating helps protect users against certain airborne contaminants. The Temperature Display offers a numerical and intuitive icon showing temperature and key operating functions. It shares energy consumption for the time the unit is turned on to the time it is turned off, while display lighting can be turned off using the remote controller. SmartThings connectivity, or the Bixby 2.0’s voice control function, allows users to control and monitor the air conditioner remotely with just a touch.6
