With Family HubTM currently only available in French door style, the team wanted to offer it in other configurations to make it accessible to more Australian homes – both in cost and dimensions. Samsung extended the great minimal aesthetics of the side-by-side fridge with modern finishes to design the most budget-premium version of Family HubTM yet. With no compromise to the smart features available on the more expensive French door style Family HubTM fridges, Samsung has introduced category innovation by offering the first smart fridge in the side-by-side segment in Australia. This includes integrating a Wi-Fi-enabled, 21.5-inch screen on the body of the fridge while using dimensions that fit under most standard Australian kitchen bulkheads, making it suitable for both rental and renovated kitchens.

By introducing 2-door Family HubTM, Samsung has brought innovation to the Australian smart fridge category. This new model is Samsung’s most affordable Family HubTM yet, making it possible for more Australian families to either begin or grow their “connected home” of the future.
