The design challenge was to make sure that the ergonomics was ideal for the cleaning task, from a standing position yet still able to apply a little extra force when needed. We also carefully considered the user interface. the method of attaching the accessories had to be easy and intuitive. We needed the accessories to be easily detached/attached with one hand as the other hand will be needed to hold the handle shaft or the product steady.

For the ergonomics of the handle, we have an adjustable telescopic handle to cater to your own height. The angle of the auxiliary handle can be fine-tuned to fit your preference, giving you the most optimum grip and posture when doing the cleaning job. Having considered many attachment solutions, we opted for the same user interface as we have on all our battery packs, which was a simple to use pair of squeeze-able buttons on both sides that releases the latch . It also meant that we can have flexibility on any future attachments moving forward in a cost effective way.

This product is a meaningful addition to the range of powered tools for use in the garden and helps RYOBI to grow it's offering in the outdoor cleaning space.
