  • The Robo C2 and Robo R2 are some of the most compact printers available - the Robo C2 includes a 12.7x12.7x15.2 cm print size. Robo C2 and Robo R2 feature the most engaging designs available yet in this product category. They are quiet and compact yet still include all industry best print standards such as class leading, print speed, material compatibility and advanced features such as auto bed levelling. Robo C2 measures 32cm w x 46cm h x 33cm d; and the Robo R2 - 43cm w x 60cm h x 40cm d.

  • Before the Robo C2 and Robo R2, older model Robo 3D printers looked like industrial machines. The new friendly form of the Robo C2 and Robo R2 has moved away from appealing to the 'geeky hacker' to the inspired consumer. They are also at home in a studio or office. Robo C2 and Robo R2 weigh 9.4 kg and 11.6 kg respectively. With moulded in handles for portability they can be easily moved.

  • If a 3D print bed is not level the 3D printing process fails. Robo C2 and Robo R2 feature a unique, sophisticated design that auto-levels the print bed using infra-red sensors. The heated print bed is easily removable, featuring carefully designed spring pin connectors so there is no need to unplug any cables. Robo C2 and Robo R2 have a touch screen control panel with a simple UI.

  • Robo C2 and Robo R2 have class leading speed. Older models print at 70mm/second. Robo C2 and Robo R2 print 4-5 times faster than this. Robo C2 and Robo R2 are structurally much stronger to enable this. One of the highest resolution printers that you can find providing accuracy and precision for fine detail printing. Robo C2 and Robo R2 are designed to be customised and upgraded, and they are the most upgradable of the Robo range. Consumers and DIYers love this capability. There is a hatch in the base for easy access to the electronics. The extruder is very accessible and easy to change. Replacing spare parts and servicing is easy.

The user interface is designed from the ground up to be used from a mobile device meaning there is no need to sit down in front of a desktop PC to carefully prepare your model for printing. Being wifi enabled provides the ability to monitor progress and manage multiple prints and printers at once. The mobile device app is designed to work directly with online sources of 3D print models and seamlessly deliver these to the Robo C2 or Robo R2 printer, making workflow much more streamlined

The Robo C2 retails for US$699, and the Robo R2 US$1499. They are almost half the price of their competitors eg Replicator US$2000, AirWolf US$3-5000, UltiMaker US$3500. Quality has not been compromised to reach these price points. The Robo R2 has a built in camera for automatic print monitoring and is upgradable to include a second print head. Robo R2 prints 30+ materials plus 2 material or 2 colour printing, and Robo C2 prints 20+ materials. The Robo C2 and Robo R2 represent a maturing of the brand for Robo. Robo R2 has outsold Robo C2 by 3 times so it's predicted Robo R2 will drive sales growth. With Robo C2 and Robo R2 under launch last year, Robo were successfully listed on the ASX and raised $6 million. Robo R2 was the Winner Best of Innovation 2017 at CES.

Robo C2 and Robo R2 run on a 90 -100 watt power pack (the same as a laptop computer). As with most 3D printers and additive manufacturing there is little or zero waste. So creating products and objects is material efficient. The print nozzle runs at 190 degrees Celsius and non-toxic polymers such as PLAs are used.
