Harrows set out to create a feature piece that could bring people together through play while still performing as a credible table tennis table. The challenge was to unite regulation game requirements and a professional player experience with the warmth and permanence expected of premium interior furniture, while also storing equipment discreetly and allowing the product to convert into a practical collaborative table.

Harrows resolved Revel by focusing on the two components most critical to its dual purpose: the playing surface and the net system. A regulation-size HPL top with printed line markings delivers the durability, consistency and colour flexibility needed to function as both a professional-standard game surface and a refined furniture finish. A custom removable net arm with integrated tension adjustment allows the net to be mounted, removed and reset to competition standard quickly, without tools. Concealed storage supports the table’s shift between play and collaboration.

Revel uses play as a design tool for connection. In workplaces and shared environments, it encourages spontaneous interaction, breaks down formality and helps create a stronger sense of community. Its dual-purpose design improves value for clients by combining recreation and collaboration in one footprint, while durable construction supports long-term use over more disposable recreational alternatives.
