Polaris Soft Close Hinge is a self-closing hinge designed specifically for frameless glass pool fence gates. Polaris Soft Close Hinge comprises of a spring with high-powered magnets and shock absorbers that ensures reliable gate closing every time from any position whether fully or slightly open.

These self closing gate hinges close with a soft and light action opposed to the hard slam of conventional pool gates. Polaris Soft Close Hinge is the safest and most reliable hinge in the frameless glass pool fence industry and complies with Australian Standards AS1926 and AS2820.

  • The Polaris Soft Close Hinge has been designed to look different to any other gate hardware. We have tried to create a modern slick design to be aesthetically pleasing whilst till satisfying the necessary safety requirements around the stepping points of the Australian Standard for pool fencing.

  • The hinging system has been design to self-close from any angle

  • The Polaris Soft Close Hinge has a unique patented soft closing technology that insures that the glass gate does not slam and close in a soft controlled manner, to protect the integrity of the fence and to insure personal safety ie: little fingers.

  • The Polaris Soft Close Hinge has been designed to have an adjustable spring tension to suit a wide variety of applications (size, weight and location)

    The Polaris Soft Close Hinge has Polymer inserts that fit into a cut out into the glass. These insert can be wedged and packed in the glass cut out to eliminate gate sagging/dropping.
