  • Feeding furniture for infants and toddlers often requires multiple products as children grow, leading to short product lifecycles, storage challenges and inconsistent usability across developmental stages. The design challenge for BRYN was to replace this multi-stage product cycle with a single highchair solution that safely supports children from infancy through toddlerhood, right through to the transition into a standard dining chair. The brief required balancing strict safety requirements with adjustability, while also addressing setup complexity and everyday interaction friction. The solution needed to ensure durability, ease of cleaning and long-term relevance in a category often defined by compromise.

  • The BRYN addresses the need for a single, long-life feeding solution through a convertible highchair system that supports children from infancy to preschool. The design reduces complexity through tool-free assembly and intuitive adjustments, allowing caregivers to set up and adapt the chair with ease. A magnetic buckle streamlines daily use, making securing the child quicker and more intuitive while maintaining safety and security. Ergonomic shaping ensures comfort across all stages, supported by a stable, durable structure designed for frequent use and easy cleaning. Through iterative testing, BRYN refines usability, adaptability and longevity into a cohesive, family-focused solution.

  • The BRYN delivers long-term impact by simplifying early feeding and reducing the need for multiple products as children grow. Its convertible design supports use from infancy through toddlerhood, extending product lifespan and improving household efficiency. Tool-free assembly and intuitive use reduce setup friction, supporting caregiver confidence and a smoother daily experience. Durable, easy-clean materials improve longevity and hygiene in a high-use environment. For the consumer, BRYN simplifies feeding by providing a single chair that adapts as the child grows, reducing waste and supporting confident use while giving children a consistent place at the table until transitioning to a standard chair.

  • The BRYN is a convertible highchair designed to integrate seamlessly into contemporary family living, evolving from when a child can sit unaided to approximately three years of age. Its tool-free assembly enables quick setup and portability, supporting ease of use across different home environments.Safety is central to the design, featuring MagneTech secure snap™—a self-guiding magnetic buckle that automatically locks into place—alongside a removable 3-point harness that adapts as the child grows. All materials are BPA and DEHP-free for safer everyday use.Comfort is supported through a 3-position adjustable footrest, a removable machine-washable seat pad with non-slip backing, and ergonomic seating designed for growing children.BRYN reflects refined Dutch design principles, combining clean lines with warm natural materials. FSC®-certified black walnut and maple woods are hand-selected for durability and character, with each piece showcasing unique grain variations. No visible screws or fixings create a seamless, furniture-like aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The highchair is GREENGUARD Gold Certified and crafted using responsibly sourced materials that support healthier indoor environments.
