  • Through sustainably focused contemporary fashion lines and artisan initiatives, NAGNATA aims to redefine value and challenge the rampant consumerism engendered by fast fashion. The intention was to develop a premium knitwear collection suitable for yoga, pilates, dance and low impact exercise that integrates effortlessly into your fashion wardrobe providing stylish, versatile garments. Whilst applying methods of sustainably minded design including using certified organic yarns with minimal material wastage. NAGNATA encourage a culture of conscious consumerism by designing premium products that offer versatility and longevity. NAGNATA packaging are reusable organic cotton tote bags and all printed materials are on recycled paper

  • The sustainable technical-knitwear line offers an unconventional concept to the market, incorporating high end fashion constructions with contemporary sportswear appeal. Produced using premium 'fully-fashioned' knitting machines is less wasteful than common cut-and-sew methods of make, where pattern shapes are cut into fabric and the scraps of material thrown away. The garments are engineered to offer support while remaining breathable and non-restrictive throughout your practice. The organic cotton fabrication is soft and breathable against your skin and absorbs sweat and toxins released from your body . The textiles are original developments of NAGNATA that provide sculptural shape, modernity and ease of movement.

  • The fashion industry is the world’s second largest polluter, following closely behind oil companies. NAGNATA recognise that sustainable practices surrounding design and business is a complex world of interconnected challenges; but the brand is committed to making environmentally conscious choices and driving innovation in the industry. NAGNATA’S knitwear collections work on transeasonal MOVEMENTS rather than strict seasonal fashion timelines. This is to ensure the brand doesn’t overproduce and grows within the capacity of the business. NAGNATA offers all women a better choice over the sustainability attributes of her wardrobe and the power of her purchasing to make authentic change.

  • The collection concept was originally inspired by knitted-retro swimsuits from the 1920s and onwards, with a nod to 90's styling. The vibrant colour-blocked collection celebrates the movement and vitality of the human body. Collection details include; - NAGNATA’S signature supportive jacquard knit technique - Partial knit 'seaming' to achieve colour block contouring with no sewn panels - Bonded look with double jacquard technique and contrast internal and external colours - Pointelle needle work design for interesting textural finish - Multi colour raised stripe and rib structures - Minimal yarn wastage to achieve all the above techniques
