The design challenge was to create a compact, easy-to-use glass cleaner that would seamlessly integrate into luxurious homes and commercial environments. The goal was to distance the Mini Filter Tap from industrial-looking designs, instead delivering a refined, minimalist product that complements high-end interiors. Functionality was key — it needed to easily rinse glasses, cups, and bottles, while maintaining a sleek, understated presence. To achieve an even more premium design, the cleaner was developed as an undermount solution, allowing for a seamless benchtop aesthetic. Every detail was considered to ensure the product combined effortless use, high performance, and sophisticated visual appeal.

The solution was to create a highly aesthetic, compact tap and glass cleaner without compromising functionality. We drastically reduced the body and handle size by relocating the cartridge beneath the baseplate, hiding the bulkiest component underneath the benchtop. Internal components were thoughtfully redesigned allowing rotation of the the spout independently of the handle. Overcoming manufacturing challenges for the glass cleaner’s thicker profiles and circular grill through a border ring. The final design achieves a delicate balance between visual simplicity, material precision, and mechanical sophistication — resulting in a premium, understated product offering a fresh alternative against stagnant tapware forms.
