  • For 65 years, Kleenheat has been synonymous with gas. As the energy sector diversified, the brand faced a strategic risk: entering a fragmented and often confusing solar and battery market dominated by lesser-known providers.Homeowners experienced a clear trust deficit, navigating inconsistent quotes, long sales cycles and high-pressure tactics.Juicebox was engaged to translate Kleenheat’s established credibility into a new solar offering, designing a distinct product brand and intuitive digital experience that simplifies decision-making, reduces friction, and reframes solar as an accessible, lifestyle-driven choice.

  • Juicebox co-created Spark through a human-centred, iterative design process, shaping a digital-first brand and experience that extends Kleenheat’s trust into the solar category.A headless Umbraco and Next.js architecture decouples the front-end experience from complex logic, enabling fast, responsive, app-like performance in-browser. This high-velocity ecosystem integrates real-time aerial mapping, instant quoting, and verified installers into a single interface.A fragmented, weeks-long sales process was transformed into an eight-minute, self-directed journey, giving customers greater control, clarity, and confidence.

  • Spark launched as Western Australia’s first fully digital, user-led solar journey, delivering measurable impact across commercial, societal and environmental outcomes. The platform generated more than 10,000 leads within three months, achieving an impressive 39% lead-to-user conversion rate.By removing friction and increasing transparency, Spark addressed the solar market’s trust deficit, enabling households to explore electrification with confidence. The platform accelerates renewable adoption while its modular architecture is designed to scale into EV, home energy, and AI integrations without requiring a rebuild.

  • Spark is built on a secure, scalable headless architecture, pairing Umbraco with Next.js to decouple front-end experience from complex logic. This enables native-app performance in-browser while unifying mapping, product data, quoting logic, and installer networks through an API-first ecosystem. Privacy-by-design principles ensure data protection is embedded from the ground up.The experience is designed to remove friction at every touchpoint. Smart aerial mapping provides immediate insight into a home’s solar potential, while an intelligent quoting engine delivers personalised pricing with rebates surfaced upfront. A process that traditionally took weeks is reduced to a minutes-long, fully self-directed experience, completed without calls or emails.Behind the scenes, Spark integrates directly with a verified installer network, connecting customers to installation through a transparent, coordinated pathway. The result is a seamless, intuitive interface that conceals a sophisticated ecosystem, making renewable energy accessible, understandable, and scalable by design.
