  • The aim was to create a unique proposition by setting new standards for the compact SUV segment, through appealing exterior and interior design, cutting-edge connectivity and class- leading safety features and a 5 star ANCAP safety rating. Kona is a small SUV that truly allows the consumer to personalise their vehicle to ideally reflect their individuality, through roof and body colour combinations and a choice of two drivetrains.

  • There is no doubt the Kona is daring and eye-catching in appearance. The sporty styling is expressed by the sculpted bonnet lines and sleek roofline and a unique wheel arch profile that emphasises the body cladding, giving a powerful appearance. Kona is aggressive, adopting Hyundai’s new Cascading Grille and enhancing it with a wide, narrow secondary grille between the narrow daytime running lights. Technology like Head-Up Display and Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto compatibility, allow you to stay connected to your world whilst you’re on the road. The Kona has advanced safety features, such as Hyundai SmartSense's Blind Spot Collision Warning.

  • Social: A 5 star ANCAP safety rating and key safety features as standard on even the entry level Kona, drivers have greater peace of mind. Commercial: SUVs are a rapidly growing segment in Australia whereby small SUVs have exploded in popularity. Kona is Hyundai's first small SUV, allowing the company to take advantage of opportunities for consumers looking for a particular size of small SUV (smaller than the Tucson, but large enough to give plenty of space). Environment: Kona features three drives modes - Comfort, Eco and Sport. The Eco Mode reduces fuel consumption by changing the mapping of the transmission.
