The designers wanted to create an optimal experience for any scenario, whether its traveling to work by train, walking, or going through TSA. Most travel bags either look great but sacrifice essential features, or they offer great features but look bulky and utilitarian.

HP wanted to create a bag that was fashionable, slim, but also travel friendly. The HP Spectre Folio Backpack and Topload bags were designed for users to travel in style with compartments built to keep essentials organized and protected. The elegantly crafted waxed canvas exterior and complimentary leather details are water-resistant to ensure items are protected against rain or spills. The waxed canvas material was developed by acclaimed fabric company, Halley Stevensons, for a slim design and vintage appeal. Users stay secure with dedicated quick-access pockets armed with RFID protection that keep credit cards and passports safe.

HP had a gap in its portfolio for a segment in the market that catered to the establish professional who appreciates aesthetics. The designers wanted to create a collection that was comprehensive, sophisticated and fashion forward. By incorporating design elements from HP’s Spectre Folio notebooks, the designers were able to maintain a cohesive design language across the product line that appealed to the target audience. While the bags evoked the same premium feeling as the notebook line, they are versatile enough to appeal to customers outside of the HP brand.

The HP Spectre Folio bags make traveling with the use of the convenient trolley handle pass-through that securely slides onto the handle of a rolling suitcase. The bags include an ultra-soft padded compartment that protects laptops up to 15.6 inches. Water bottles can be conveniently stored in easily accessible exterior side pockets of the backpack. Travelers experience ample comfort using the backpack with padded shoulder straps and breathable air mesh pods.
