  • Task: make a quality computer suited for small living spaces, for productivity and entertainment Why: more people are staying at home, and have smaller living spaces

  • The 3-sided borderless display and minimal stand contribute to focusing attention on the display. The pop-up camera prevents unintentional video use. Every surface was designed to make the best use of space, and look elegantly subtle. * 5 mega-pixel pop-up camera with 1.4 Micron sensor for low light use. * HDMI 1.4 input to connect a laptop or streaming device. a second HDMI to attach a second display. * wireless Qi charging in the base of the stand to charge phones * remote control with mic for text-to-speech.

  • Instead of trying to pack a computer, a speaker system, and a TV all into a small living space, Pavilion 27 All in One puts them all in one device. The computer has HDMI input so it can be used with streaming devices, game systems, and other devices. The remote control switches inputs, controls volume, and works as a microphone. The design had to be suitable to appear in shared living spaces, and meet the needs of the user for their entertainment besides productivity.

  • A privacy-focused pop-up webcam is integrated into the main housing for a sleek look, wireless audio streaming from the phone replaces the need for a separate audio speaker The stand charges phones wirelessly – without hunting in the dark for a charge cable. The stand has a channel in its back to route cables neatly away from view.
