The design intent is to: • Create a new interpretation of the free standing cooker. • Strike a balance between traditional and contemporary design. • A full width handle that is designed to introduce a sleek horizontal element into the kitchen. • A square hob which is 40mm high to align with typical bench profiles while the height of the control panel is designed to align with the height of the typical top drawer height. • The control knobs are comfortable to use, refined and unique. An alternative knob design is offered to suit some buyers who prefer a more conventional solution

• All burners are equipped with flame failure safety devices. If the flame is extinguished on any burner the gas flow shuts off. • If a control knob is turned in error the gas does not flow unless the knob is being pressed in at the same time. • There is a safety switch that operates with the grill. This allows for closed door grilling, (cleaner and more efficient), - if there is a flare up the switch automatically cuts the power. • The door features 3 layers of glass with a cooling fan system that draws cool air up through the door. The outside of the door remains cool during use. • The cooker is Australian Gas Association compliant and meets the requirements of AS4551.

• The Bi Energy oven technology is a world first. Developed in Sydney. Prototypes were originally hand built in Wetherill Park and submitted to the factory. The Matrix cooker is the fifth generation of the Bi Energy cooker. • Attention has been made to any areas of a cooker that can cause early wear or failure. Glem Gas use a relatively high cost glass fibre door seal that lasts the life of the cooker. • Glem Gas is an ISO9001certified company. The production process for the Matrix cookers is based around batches of 6. All components, production and assembly centres around multiples of 6. This allows for immediate and accurate quality control through all stages of manufacturing.
