  • Every material decision in a building project either contributes to — or compounds — the climate and housing challenge. Yet the intelligence needed to make better decisions rarely arrives in time. Data is fragmented across certification bodies, manufacturer documentation and compliance tools. When substitutions arise, teams cannot quickly surface what is being traded away across a whole lifecycle. Price wins by default. Low-carbon, circular and resilient outcomes are lost, not by choice, but by complexity. The challenge was to build an AI-orchestrated intelligence layer that puts the full picture at the exact moment decisions arise, from early design through tender to post-construction.

  • Evitat was built in deliberate layers — a verified material library spanning embodied carbon, circularity, water and energy performance, health and resilience; then the Material Board for specification and scheduling. The landmark moment came when the library connected into an agentic architecture, powering queries directly in the platform and across studio environments. This revealed how practitioners actually think about materials — and that confidence, not data, was the missing link. This insight drove Workflow 2.0: project criteria that automate sustainability, carbon, circularity and compliance requirements, integrate teams' own product libraries, and run rating scheme reports, culminating in the upcoming building passport.

  • Eight months post-launch, Evitat has grown to 250 users, 90 active material boards, and a verified library of 2,500 products — with 20,000+ additional EPD-certified materials integrating shortly. The Building Designer Association Australia partnership connects additional 3,000+ building design professionals directly to the platform. The environmental stakes are significant. Buildings account for approximately 20% of Australia's national carbon emissions. Embodied carbon — locked in at the moment of material selection — is an urgent and underutilized lever. Evitat puts that lever in the hands of every project team, at every scale, at the moment it matters.

  • Verified Material Library — 2,500+ products spanning embodied carbon, circularity, water and energy performance, health and resilience. A further 20,000+ EPD-certified materials integrating shortly, creating one of the most comprehensive verified product dataset available to Australian design and construction teams.Agentic Search and Material Assistant — AI-powered search that surfaces the right products for project scope, location, occupants and climate context. The material assistant answers questions, surfaces compliance data and builds practitioner confidence in navigating sustainability requirements, presenting it to clients — available directly in the platform and within studio environments.Agentic Workflow 2.0 — Project criteria that automate sustainability, carbon, circularity, compliance and rating scheme requirements across specification schedules, assessments and documentation. Teams can integrate their own product libraries and run reports aligned to Green Star, NatHERS and other frameworks.Building Passport — A structured project-level record aggregating material performance, lifecycle carbon, circularity scores and compliance status into a single auditable file — designed for use across design, finance, insurance and regulatory contexts.
