Electrolux Inspiration IOI Pyrolux Built-In Duo Oven

Our Pyrolux pyrolytic self-cleaning function involves temperatures of up to 500 degrees Celsius to burn food residues to dust that can be simply wiped away. In order to make life easier for our customers, we overcame the technical challenge of building such a powerful function into such a small oven capacity in the lower unit. This innovative design means even with a high-energy function like pyrolytic cleaning, Pyro Duo still achieves a European A-Class rating for energy efficiency.

To develop our unique Intuitive Oven Interface (IOI), we watched how people use their ovens, removed the complexities, and designed the oven to be so intuitive that you can throw out the manual. To ensure that we created a product that would satisfy a chef at home, we used more than 20 precise recipes to test our ovens including souffles, meringues, and roasts. Because the fast pace of the modern world demands efficiency, the oven reaches temperatures of 200 degrees in just 8 minutes.

With a sleek minimalist design that complements any kitchen, Pyro Duo is part of the Electrolux Inspiration range which includes matching range hoods, refrigerators, and microwaves. The high-definition, full-colour, animated interface makes programming the oven simple and fluid. When powered off, the controls fade away for a cleaner, simpler, more beautiful kitchen. On the inside, telescopic runners make accessing food safer and easier.

Oven cleaning chemicals are some of the most toxic chemicals in our homes. Our Pyrolux cleaning eliminates the need for these harmful chemicals (and the requisite elbow grease.) The quadruple-glazed door minimises heat loss and keeps exterior surfaces cool—so cool that our doors don't require a 'hot surface' label.

The Electrolux Pyro Duo Oven features enamelled steel, 430-grade stainless steel, and borosilicate glass. We chose mark-resistant stainless steel for ease of cleaning and timeless durability. The ovens undergo stringent life, quality & cleanability testing at our local factory in Adelaide. Each and every model off the production line is quality tested at 8 different testing stations before going to market. These materials & processes ensure that our designs live up to their potential.
