  • The design challenge was to create a modular lounging system that could adapt to the evolving needs of contemporary spaces while maintaining a strong, cohesive aesthetic. The brief required flexibility across commercial, public, and residential environments, balancing collaboration, focus, and relaxation. Key challenges included achieving seamless reconfigurability without compromising structural integrity, ensuring long-term comfort and durability, and resolving a refined, architectural form that remains visually consistent across diverse configurations.

  • The design solution centres on a refined rail system that enables seamless modularity while maintaining structural integrity and visual cohesion. Early development focused on resolving this framework, ensuring flexibility without complexity. Iterative prototyping refined proportions, comfort, and connection points, overcoming challenges around stability and reconfiguration. The final outcome integrates adaptable modules, tailored upholstery, and durable materials into a cohesive system that responds fluidly to diverse spatial needs, delivering both functional performance and a clear architectural identity.

  • Dwell delivers a strong commercial impact through its versatility, enabling broad application across workplace, public, and residential markets. Environmentally, it prioritises durability, low-emission materials, and responsible manufacturing, supporting long-term use and reduced waste. Socially, it enhances how people interact with space; fostering comfort, connection, and well-being while supporting both collaboration and focused work in contemporary environments.

  • Key features of Dwell centre on its refined structural rail system, which underpins both its visual identity and modular flexibility. This continuous framework allows elements to be easily added, removed, or reoriented, enabling a wide range of configurations while maintaining stability and cohesion. The collection includes low, mid, and high-back modules, ottomans, corner units, and integrated tables, offering versatility across diverse environments. Modules can be specified as individual elements or continuous spans, with the option to include or omit arms and backs to shape circulation, define zones, or create directionality.Comfort is achieved through multi-density foam cushioning, delivering long-term support with a soft, inviting feel. Tailored upholstery, refined stitching, and softened edges express a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.Dwell also integrates practical features such as power solutions for modern work settings, while its durable, low-emission materials and GECA certification reflect a commitment to sustainability. Together, these elements create a flexible, enduring system that balances performance with a clear architectural language.
