Delta Coast

The Design Challenge for the Delta Coast Sofa project was to create a very relaxed seating solution that still offers all the supportive comfort, durability, low maintenance up-keep, benefits of flexible modularity and multitude of upholstery options that King Living is known for. We identified a gap in the market for such a sofa that appealed to a more relaxed coastal aesthetic, but would maintain its appearance over time without requiring constant upkeep to stay looking neat and inviting in its pillowy softness.

The Delta Coast Sofa addresses the design challenge through meticulous attention to detail and innovative features. Incorporating a galvanised steel frame and Postureflex® Seating System ensures durability and support, meeting the need for long-lasting comfort. Modular flexibility allows for endless configurations, while removable, machine-washable covers facilitate easy maintenance. Optional accessories – e.g. bed brackets which can turn 2 x two seater platforms into a guest bed - enhance customisation. Throughout the design process, key milestones were met through rigorous testing and refinement, overcoming challenges to deliver a solution that exceeds expectations in comfort, versatility, and style.

Customisable Skirt: The skirt has velcro sewn into the hem, allowing customers to adjust it for a tailored look with the same sofa. Modular Flexibility: The Delta Coast Sofa’s steel frame can be reconfigured into various modular setups to meet changing lifestyle and space needs. Backrests can be converted into armrests with adjustable brackets. Optional Accessories: A variety of accessories, like platform tables and arm brackets, are available for further customisation.
