The challenge was to create a luxurious, soft, fully-upholstered modular sofa that seamlessly combined the high-end style and comfort of indoor furniture with the durability needed to withstand the harsh Australian climate. The vision was to create an elegant sofa with signature curves and a modern, organic design for everyday relaxation and durability.

The Como Bumper Left and Right, paired with the Como Curved Corner, features scale and proportion in perfect harmony with a uniquely crafted barrel-back design fully upholstered with a range of performance textiles available, including exclusive Altona Outdoor Velvet. Featuring quick-dry sink-in foam cushioning and seated on a base crafted from solid, sustainably sourced Grade A Indonesian teak, the pieces required expert craftsmanship. Comfort is achieved through thick, sink-in seat cushions with a Dacron wrap supported by a solid teak base. The curved shape creates an elevated, luxurious lounging experience. Upholstery and materials are weather-resistant.

Barrel-back design and signature curves throughout the design, with a concealed support system made of a reinforced aluminium frame, ensuring long–lasting strength and stability for outdoor use.Full-upholstery in performance-textiles, including: Riviera, sourced from Italy and milled from 100% polypropylene; Pebble, Harbour’s exclusive bouclé developed in collaboration with Sunbrella and offering a rub count of 30,000 Wyzenbeek; and Altona, Harbour’s exclusive performance velvet developed in collaboration with Sunbrella and featuring a rub count of 100,000 Wyzenbeek. All fabrics are resistant to UV fading, mildew, and outdoor stains.Performance cushions that are resistant to sun, moisture, mildew, staining and supported by a slatted suspension for added comfort.
