  • As global connectivity evolves with innovations in infrastructure, technology and accessibility needs, airports are constantly adapting to accommodate passenger flow and experience. Seating plays a pivotal role, where outdated systems lacking modern amenities result in user discomfort or disconnection with the space, and for Airport Operators, a disjointed environmental flow. To achieve this, furniture needs to be forward-thinking, whilst balancing architectural clarity, durable design capable of withstanding high-traffic pressures and allowing access to power in the places passengers have come to expect it. Altitude is a future‑ready beam‑seating system designed to innovate the way transport hubs and passengers connect seamlessly.

  • Altitude was developed as a unified response to evolving demands of modern transport hubs, where comfort, connectivity and spatial coherence must coexist under continuous use. Its central and modular beam structure enables operators to reconfigure as operational needs change, including converting seats to conform to accessibility requirements or adding armrests. Integrated pathways for power support the amenities passengers now expect, with thoughtful consideration, reducing visual clutter. Every component is replaceable and serviceable, reducing waste and ensuring long‑term resilience. By combining durable material choice, adaptability and future‑ready functionality, Altitude delivers a refined seating system, strengthening both user experience and environmental performance.

  • Altitude delivers measurable commercial, environmental and societal impact across global transport networks whilst remaining ready to adapt flexibly. Its modular design reduces long‑term operational costs, extends product lifespan and minimises waste. Made in Australia, Zaneti's system has been embraced by Australian airports, major and regional alike, including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Gladstone — each at the forefront of delivering enhanced passenger experience. For travellers, Altitude has improved comfort, accessibility and connectivity, contributing to more intuitive public environments. By unifying durability and future‑proofed functionality, Altitude strengthens the quality and resilience of high‑traffic spaces while supporting evolving community and infrastructure needs.

  • Altitude is defined by a series of design features that balance modern design, long‑term resilience and operational intelligence. Its central beam structure forms the foundation of a fully modular system, allowing seats, armrests, table/tablet surfaces and accessibility components to be positioned or reconfigured at any point along the span. This flexibility enables operators to adapt layouts as passenger flow, accessibility requirements or terminal functions evolve, without replacing the underlying structure. Ergonomic seat geometry supports comfort during extended dwell times, while the separated seat and back design improves cleanability in high‑traffic environments. Smooth, crevice‑free cushion profiles and non‑porous surfaces prevent debris build‑up, supporting hygiene standards essential in public settings. Integrated pathways within the beam enable concealed power delivery, with armrests featuring replaceable, in-built power modules, allowing upgrades as technology advances. This ensures passengers have access to the amenities they expect, without introducing visual clutter or compromising the system’s refined aesthetic. Being component-based, asset management is supported, extending product lifespan. Durable die‑cast aluminium parts, concealed fixings with hidden cabling and robust structural engineering ensure the system withstands continuous public use without tamper risk or trip hazards. Together, these features create a future‑ready seating platform that elevates both user experience and operational efficiency.
