  • There's lightness and softness all around - from the cushion to the frame to the headgear. The AirFit™ N20 frame uses the same materials as the headgear to provide padding and a plush feel on the patients face. In a ResMed study, 75% of patients found AirFit N20 provided more stability than their current nasal mask. With new cushion technology and a plush fabric frame, its features combine to deliver a superior mask experience - 71% of all patients tested preferred wearing the AirFit N20 over their current nasal mask.

  • ResMed's InfintitySeal™ cushions have been designed to adapt to facial contours and deliver a secure, comfortable fit, regardless of face shape or size. A ResMed 2016 study found that the AirFit™ N20 silicone cushion fit 99.4% of patients tested. Precise cushion contouring, localised texture details plus InfinitySeal technology deliver a dependable seal - designed to prevent blow-outs, tolerate mis-fitting and seal well under variable pressures and movement during therapy. The InfinitySeal cushion has auxiliary inner loops that allow patients to adjust their mask during therapy, maintaining the cushion's form and ability to deliver a seal.

  • The simple design of AirFit™ N20, its minimal parts, and digital support media combine so patients can fit and adjust their mask straight from the box. The short tube comes intentionally unassembled. The first interaction with the mask is that of assembly; teaching the user the short tube can be easily inserted and removed. The system architecture allows different sized cushions to be inserted without disassembling the system. Magnetic clips self-align allowing fast, simple headgear fitting and removal. New sizing guides, our widest fit range yet, and clear sizing indicators simplify the setup process. Colour cues throughout enhance user interaction.

  • The AirFit™N20 for Her range was specifically designed to give every woman a more personalised mask that better meets her unique facial features and adapts to the way she sleeps. Using careful anthropometric analysis, the Airfit N20 for Her mask offers a smaller size to suit female facial contours. This ensures a better fit, and reduces effort for the clinician. The colours used on the for Her range have been carefully selected and aim to provide a more tailored experience for female patients. They differentiate at a glance the for Her and standard ranges. ResMed provides helpful digital media and guides that provide tips for topics such as hair management.

Sleep apnea therapy can be daunting, which is why ResMed makes every effort to make it as unobtrusive as possible. The AirFit™ N20 frame supports itself on the face under the eyes without the need for a forehead support. This means that while awake, patients can wear glasses to read or watch TV while acclimating to therapy. The short tube quick release feature enables easy connection or disconnection, while its short tube allows greater freedom of movement without encountering tube drag or leakage.

ResMed knows that although the products we produce are medical in nature, they are predominantly used in the home. Focus on detail design, texture and colour combine to create a more desirable product solution. Colour has been used to energise the products, differentiate our standard from our for Her ranges and highlight areas of interaction. Colour is being used to tie ResMed's product families together, but also build brand recognition and make our products stand out from the crowd. The headgear utilises new plush, melange textiles. The melange pattern was selected to visually soften the system. These materials make the product look and feel like a piece of clothing rather than a medical device.
