AirFit™ F40 CPAP Full Face Mask

Ultra compact under-the-nose full-face masks can be challenging to fit properly and maintain seal at higher pressures when compared to traditional over-the-nose PAP masks. Established masks use a cushion made of silicone over moulded on a rigid plastic carrier which is typically assembled with other rigid components. This rigid structure is heavy on the face and limits how well a mask adapts to different sleeping positions & movement. This will impact fit & seal performance & requires more headgear adjustment – potentially impacting a patient’s quality of sleep and confidence with therapy. Ultimately impacting long term adherence and therapy outcomes.

AirFit™ F40 was designed with flexibility and simplicity as key deliverables. The AdaptiSeal™ cushion is made of 100% soft silicone which is assembled with an also fully flexible frame. This flexible structure is light on face and results in a very robust fit & seal that dynamically self-adjusts to changing facial topography during movement & different sleep positions. This adaptive architecture enables other benefits. Unlike other ultra compact full-face masks, AirFit™ F40 removes the need for an extra top strap adjustment point on the headgear, further enhancing simplicity & ease-of-use.

The totally soft AdaptiSeal™ cushion adapts to the patient’s face to help maintain seal – even when they move during sleep. Four quick adjustment points and magnetic clips make it easy to use. The magnetic clips easily snap together, making the mask easy & intuitive to put AirFit™ F40 on and off – even in the dark or for users with dexterity challenges. A fully flexible frame that’s soft on the face, lets the patient wear glasses to read or watch TV. Anthropometrically designed to avoid sensitive areas on face & keep the assembly away from the patient’s eyes and ears. The frame arms incorporate integrated nylon fabric padding which wrap the frame on both sides, designed for extra comfort and reduced worry about facial marks when the patient wakes up in the morning. An integrated short tube helps you sleep in any position. And quick-release elbow lets you connect and disconnect to therapy quickly, even in the middle of the night. QuietAir™ diffused venting creates a more peaceful bedroom – for the patient & their partner. AirFit™ F40 is further enhanced with an anthropometrically designed headgear, colour coded for ease of sizing & interaction.
