Midea noticed a concerning gap in the dishwasher market for a mobility-inclusive, energy-efficient, spatially efficient and affordable product. During the design process, the team noticed that energy efficiency and high performance results were features that only premium priced products could offer, and consumer’s comfort and inclusive accessibility oftenneglected. Conventional dishwashers require the consumer to bend over to access the lowerbasket, creating unnecessary hardship and strain on those with mobility issues, such assufferers with chronic conditions, back injuries and the elderly. For consumers without mobility issues, providing an easier and more comfortable loading/unloading process was the goal.

The Easy-Lift Dishwasher was designed to bring affordable comfort with energy-efficiency to the consumer. The Easy-Lift basket allows easy access, while the Spacemaster design allows the upper basket to fit taller items thanks to the additional 46mm internal height. With a 25cm raise, the lower basket becomes easily accessible with the ability to carry up to 18kg, a lifespan of up to 15 years, and the ability to operate for 75,000 cycles. And with every cycle, the Ion Dishfresh feature will eliminate up to 99.8% of pollutants and the ActiveOpen feature will ensure their dishes are properly dried.

The Midea Easy-Lift dishwasher delivers high performance, energy-efficiency, and a sleek,innovative design, enhancing accessibility and comfort while adapting to the consumer'schanging needs. One such function is the Dual Zone Wash, which can isolate either the upper or lower part of the dishwasher to run independently. This function enables smaller loads to run with the same high- performance and hygiene deep-cleaning, with lower energy consumption. But for those times when you need to fill the dishwasher to the brim, Auto Wash will detect dirty dishes, and adjust the cycle accordingly.

This ensures the contents is clean without the need for excessive chemical intervention. - Auto Wash – The Auto Wash feature has sensors to detect dirty dishes, and adjusts the cycleaccordingly, ensuring a quality clean every time. - ActiveOpen Dry – Once the washing cycle is finished, the door will automatically open, allowing the steam to escape and cool dry air to rush in, resulting in an effective and energy-efficient dry. - Energy rating – The Midea Easy-Lift dishwasher has a 5.5 star water rating and a 4.5 starenergy rating. - Spacemaster Design – Up to 46mm of additional internal height, allowing for 9% more capacity than other 60cm dishwashers, allowing more space in the upper basket for glasswear.
