  • The design challenge was to bring electrification to a full‑size utility ATV without compromising the capability, durability, or usability expected from an All‑Terrain Vehicle (Quad). Utility ATVs operate in demanding conditions, endure heavy workloads, and support long workdays, all within limited space for batteries, motors, and cooling systems. The brief required integrating a high‑performance electric powertrain into a compact ATV architecture while maintaining range, reliability, and ease of use for professional users. The transition to electrification also had to feel intuitive and credible, meeting rider expectations for control, ergonomics and daily work readiness.

  • The solution positions electrification as a functional advantage rather than a constraint. The electric powertrain delivers instant torque and precise throttle control while eliminating exhaust emissions and reducing vibration, improving the rider’s daily experience by lowering fatigue and creating a quieter working environment. Ergonomic refinements, modular seating, integrated cargo racks, and compatibility with BRP LinQ accessories ensure the vehicle remains fully capable for demanding tasks. The result is a utility ATV that preserves core work performance while offering a quieter, more controlled riding experience supporting health and well‑being during extended daily use and fostering a renewed connection with nature.

  • Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including responsible consumption and climate action, the Can‑Am Outlander Electric was designed with recycling and reuse in mind. Sharing its core electric platform with BRP’s Pulse and Origin motorcycles, it uses fewer parts, reducing manufacturing complexity and maintenance requirements. Silent, zero‑emission operation allows riders to work and explore while remaining respectful of nature and surrounding environments. By combining full utility capability with electrification, the Outlander Electric supports a more responsible approach to off‑road work and recreation while reinforcing BRP’s broader vision of expanding access to powersports through sustainable innovation.

  • Silent Electric Powertrain● Silent operation and ergonomic refinements enhance comfort during long workdays, positioning the ATV as both a reliable tool and a more sustainable alternative for utility use.Reduced Noise and Vibration● Extremely quiet operation reduces rider fatigue and supports greater awareness of the surrounding environment during work and exploration.Modular Accessory Integration● Compatibility with BRP LinQ utility accessories enables easy customization across tasks, extending the vehicle versatility within the BRP ecosystem.Modular Ergonomics Support● Modular ergonomics support long workdays and a wide range of professional and recreational tasks, adapting to varied user needs.Adaptive Traction● On‑demand 2WD/4WD and dynamic power steering provide confidence and control across varied terrain and working conditions.Intuitive Human-Machine Interface● An intuitive rider interface prioritizes clear, essential information, reducing cognitive load during demanding tasks.Body Protection● Robust body protection and integrated cargo zones support demanding daily use in harsh working environments.Electric Brand Expression● Sculpted proportions, exclusive white and granite grey finishes, signature LED lighting, and a wide, stable stance express strength and visual presence, remaining true to Can‑Am design DNA.
