  • The Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) plays a critical role in developing senior public sector leaders across Australia and New Zealand. However, its existing digital presence no longer reflected the organisation’s intellectual authority, strategic ambition or regional influence. The challenge was to create a modern digital platform capable of communicating complex programs, research and events while remaining accessible to diverse audiences including senior public servants, academics and policy professionals. The solution also needed to support future growth, evolving content and new forms of engagement while strengthening ANZSOG’s brand position as a trusted centre for public leadership.

  • The solution centred on creating a flexible digital platform aligned to ANZSOG’s new brand system. A comprehensive design system and custom UI kit ensured consistency across digital touch-points while enabling scalable growth. The website was rebuilt using a headless architecture, combining Storyblok as the CMS with a React front end for flexibility, performance and long-term maintainability. Information architecture was completely restructured to clarify how programs, research, events and insights are discovered.A modular component framework replaced rigid WordPress templates, empowering internal teams to author structured, coherent content. Micro-interactions and animated ripple lines introduce motion that reinforces connection and knowledge exchange.

  • The new digital platform positions ANZSOG as a contemporary centre for leadership across Australia and New Zealand. A clearer information architecture and streamlined program structure improves access to education, research and events for senior public servants, academics and policy professionals. The improved experience supports stronger program discovery and increased registrations, helping ANZSOG expand participation and extend reach across the region. In turn, the knowledge and capability developed through ANZSOG programs flows into government institutions and communities, strengthening public sector leadership and policy outcomes.Built on a modular headless architecture, the platform provides a scalable, efficient foundation for long-term digital sustainability.

  • The ANZSOG digital platform was designed as a modular system capable of supporting the organisation’s long-term growth. At its core is a comprehensive design system and custom UI kit derived from the new brand identity. This system provides a library of reusable components that allow content editors to assemble pages dynamically while maintaining visual consistency and usability across the site. The project included a complete overhaul of the information architecture to simplify how ANZSOG’s programs, research, insights and events are organised. The new structure aligns with the organisation’s strategic pillars and enables users to navigate complex information quickly and intuitively. The platform is built using a headless architecture with Storyblok as the CMS and a React front end. This approach enables high performance, flexible content management and the ability to scale the platform as ANZSOG’s programs and partnerships evolve.Motion design also plays a key role in the experience. Subtle micro-interactions and scroll-based animations bring the interface to life, while animated ripple lines create a visual thread of movement throughout the site, reinforcing themes of connection, collaboration and knowledge exchange.
