  • Transitioning industrial and transport sectors to more sustainable practices represent a significant challenge, especially in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems traditionally dependent on fossil fuels. The primary challenge for the Unicla eDrive was developing a compressor that not only improves efficiency and reliability but also integrates seamlessly with a range of mobile systems, adapts to different climatic conditions, and supports diverse refrigerants while being easy to maintain and service.

  • The Unicla eDrive features a compact, lightweight, air-cooled design, integrated with a revolutionary electric motor and control system to significantly enhance energy efficiency, and reduce operational costs. Key to the design was the separation of the motor from the refrigerant circuit, preventing contamination and enhancing longevity. The compressor’s modular design allows easy integration into existing systems while isolating the electric motor from the refrigerant circuit, which simplifies maintenance, and enhances serviceability. Rigorous prototyping and testing phases ensured durability and performance under extreme conditions was achieved.
