  • Launch Taylor & Smith Distilling Co. first Single Malt Whisky. Keep true to their brand to bringing people together to share stories of place through their contemporary, experimental spirits. Achieve a striking and memorable presence both in a retail context and on social media. Engage existing female leaning gin audience to encourage them to try whisky and challenge existing whisky drinkers to be more adventurous.

  • Sunshine is used as a metaphor for the smooth, warming spirit. The colours of the packaging design reflect the key ingredients and their Tasmanian environmental influences - single malt barley, pristine glacier lake water, the sun and the clear blue sky. A striking, custom reusable display box allows the light to reflect, permeate and showcase the golden liquid to cast beautiful, contemplative shadows. The covetable design is something people want to hold onto and keep pride of place, similar to a table top book.

  • Women are encouraged to try whisky with a campaign featuring talented Tasmanian women as ambassadors. The positioning challenges industry clichés, and provides a striking example of what contemporary, creative Whisky can be. The design mimics the sense of wonder generated by the environment in the way that light interacts with the product. Our design provides a platform for constant social engagement, and a loyal customer base, consistently catching the attention of new stockists. Our reusable display case gives customers the opportunity to order new bottles to refill their display case, making savings for their pocket and the environment.

  • The packaging retains the minimal, distillery first approach Taylor & Smith is known for; hero brand mark lockup, rotary screen printed labels and hand waxed lids. The design allows for the inclusion of hand written numbering and barrel details on the reverse. A striking, custom reusable display box allows the light to reflect, permeate and showcase the golden liquid.
