  • Soochi is unique on the canned drinks shelf – not fruit juice or a sports drink, but a new take on ‘supplement’ in a can that can be sipped on its own (as a non alcoholic alternative) or mixed with a cocktail. The beverage contains collagen powder, prebiotics and vitamin C, providing great nutritional benefits to the skin and gut. These ingredients are used in preventative care for skin and hair renewal. It was important to ensure the packaging design reflected the benefits of the drink as a beauty supplement that could be enjoyed at any time of day or occasion.

  • The benefits of the beverage appeal to female customers, so a figure illustration, celebrating the beauty of the female form is used on each flavour, each woman honouring the fruits of 'wellness' - a hint to the ingredients. The illustration is housed inside an arch shape, synonymous as a symbol for rebirth – fitting for Soochi as the beverage is created to aid the renewal of hair & skin. The word mark is bold, polished and paired with a simple, easy to follow typographic & icon pack layout and striking colour palette. The design demonstrates elegant vitality to reflect the contents inside the can.

  • The Soochi range has already had an impact with customers in New Zealand, with its health and environment benefits - Soochi uses sustainable collagen and ethically sourced ingredients. The ‘Soochi Woman’ illustration is designed to work as a bold art piece and embrace the beauty aspect of the beverage. A stand out of the ‘canned drink shelf’ to everyday shoppers, this packaging has also caught the eyes of event planners for fashion & magazine launches, brand collaborations, yoga studios & health food stores; as the packaging celebrates both wellness and femininity and is the perfect accompanying refreshing beverage that’s also good for you.

  • Pronounced 'Soo-chee', the brand name 'Soochi' is derived from the Latin word 'Suci' which means juice - commonly known as the 'nectar of life'. Interpreting this into the design, the colour palette needed to communicate this idea of 'sweetness', 'nectar' and vitality, hence the design decision to work with brighter, warm palettes for the packaging & branding and contrasting the illustrations against these tones.
