Samsung Bespoke Cube Air Purifier AX53

Design an Air Purification system that addresses consumers growing awareness of the importance of air purification while bringing a design element into their home appliances. The design challenge Samsung faced was to balance the aesthetics of an air purification system, to seamlessly fit and integrate into a consumer’s lifestyle and décor while maintaining the air purification function. Samsung also wanted to minimise noise to reduce disturbance and help to create better air hygiene by capturing certain dust, bacteria, viruses, and allergens.

The BESPOKE Cube Air Purifier offers a visually appealing design with its unique herringbone pattern and colour palette designed to integrate into any home seamlessly and stylishly. The contemporary design on the front panel and the neutral champagne and white colour was chosen to effortlessly blend with any interior style. The BESPOKE Cube has been designed to take up less space but still offer 53㎡ of coverage. Key innovations include WindFree™ mode which helps purify consumer’s space with less noise , and no direct draft.

The BESPOKE Cube Air Purifier has been designed with ease of use and home aesthetics in mind. Offering a HEPA filtration system that removes up to 99.97% of 0.3㎛ ultra-fine dust, is virtually silent and allows consumers the convenience of checking and assessing air quality while at home or remotely . With WiFi control and the SmartThings App consumers can easily turn their system on and off and control and check the air quality within their home . With a sleek and neutrally coloured design consumers don’t need to compromise on style to ensure the whole family is breathing clean air.

Multi-layered Purification System including Pet Care – An additional layer of filtration designed to remove fine, soft pet hair from the air. It is designed to automatically increase the air flow of the low setting by 20% so that hair can be captured effectively. For consumers without pets this can be used as an additional layer of purification. WiFi Control with SmartThings – Monitor and control the air quality in your home from anywhere using the SmartThings App. With a touch, or using your voice you can turn it on/off, check the air quality, get filter status and replacement notifications. 3D Surround Air Purification – Five-way suction can powerfully draw in air from all directions (up, down, left, right and back). The 3-way Smart Discharge System is designed to analyse the air quality and can automatically control the flow of purified air. Ambient Light Sensors – The Ambient Light Sensor adjusts the display brightness the BESPOKE Cube to suit your environment. The AX53 stand – An additional accessory, the stand brings in a sleek design and functionality to the air purifier. Used to elevate the purifier or create and save floor space.
