  • MORE
  • Before Night Quill™, no ergonomic trigger existed for aerosol cans — artists simply worked through discomfort. Identifying this gap led to the challenge of reimagining the aerosol painting experience. Key goals included designing a universal trigger compatible with hundreds of can and nozzle variations, maintaining a familiar “finger-on-cap” feel while maximising visibility of the nozzle tip during use. The trigger geometry was carefully shaped to flex to various valve types & resistances. The design had to enable intuitive spray and reload modes, simple assembly and removal, and deliver comfort, durability, and bold aesthetics with minimal parts for artists of all levels.

  • Night Quill™ was developed through rigorous prototyping, ergonomic research, and direct artist feedback. Its horseshoe collar adapts to hundreds of can and cap types, featuring a front gap for wide nozzles and angled side pads that support smooth transitions between cans. The rotating trigger’s axis was engineered for maximum leverage and fluid actuation across nozzle types. Its sculpted, ergonomic form gives a cockpit-like feel, balancing comfort with control. With minimal components, quick assembly, and durable polymer construction, Night Quill™ transforms aerosol painting into a more accessible and controlled creative experience.

  • Night Quill™ has transformed the spray can experience — delivering greater comfort, control, and accessibility. By reducing fatigue and physical strain, it has helped artists with permanent injuries return to creative expression. For professionals, it enables longer sessions, with many reporting less mental fatigue after work — giving them back energy for life beyond the studio. Commercially, it has defined a new product category and gained rapid adoption within the creative community. Its compact, low-waste construction and durable design reduce environmental impact. Night Quill™ sets a benchmark for inclusive, purpose-driven design that delivers cultural and commercial value.

  • Night Quill™ features a sculpted, ergonomic form inspired by the human hand, delivering comfort and control in a compact, minimal footprint. The rotating trigger provides maximum leverage in the smallest form factor possible, while preserving the familiar “finger-on-nozzle” feel. Its geometry is finely tuned to flex across soft, medium, and hard valve types, offering tailored actuation. The universal horseshoe collar is engineered to work with virtually all aerosol cans and nozzle variations on the market, including wide caps, and features a front opening for unobstructed spray. Side pads are shaped to support smooth transitions between cans, allowing artists to detach and reattach the device effortlessly during long sessions. Night Quill™ offers distinct spray and reload modes, enabling fast nozzle swaps mid-session. Available in three flex profiles (Soft, Medium, Hard), the product accommodates varying hand strength and preference. It assembles in seconds, has a low part count, and is built from durable thermoplastics for extended use. Aesthetically bold and expressive, it’s designed to resonate with creative professionals across disciplines. A small detail on the front of the trigger forms a subtle quill- or pen-nib shape — a visual reference to the brand name and its link to creative expression.
