  • IMPACT
  • Designed for the brain, Brody uses privacy screens to create a cocoon-like space where workers and students are sheltered from visual distractions and can find moments of quiet, focused work. Steelcase researchers and designers turned to neuroscience to understand how the brain sustains attention. Brody was designed to eliminate visual distractions and provide a psychological safe spot where users can nestle in and get away from distractions without leaving the building.

  • Designed for the body, the Brody WorkLounge features patented LiveLumbar™ technology—bringing thoughtful ergonomic design to the lounge posture. Brody's state-of-the-art ergonomics cradle your body in a reclined position, allowing your upper and lower back to be supported, while the angled Personal Work Surface holds your technology at eye-level to reduce neck and shoulder strain. Arm support built into the work surface relieves pressure off your shoulders and a soft edge seat allows for a range of users to sit comfortably in any position.

  • Designed for the building, Brody optimizes real estate by transforming underused spaces into coveted destinations for focus. Intended for individual use in an open space, Brody is configurable in ways that allow multiple people to get into flow in a dense area at the same time. A smart alternative to enclaves, the Brody WorkLounge can help organizations transform underutilized, in-between spaces into coveted destinations. Brody also meets individuals' needs for power, lighting and personal storage, creating a cocoon-like space that provides privacy and sense of psychological security for users.
