Sponsored by the AEC, it embeds culturally-safe practices, lived experience expertise, and partnerships with Indigenous organisations to build knowledge and stronger democratic engagement among First Nations Young People.

ABC International Development Foundations of Journalism: Empowering Media in the Indo-Pacific

The Foundations of Journalism (FoJ) program, created by ABC International Development (ABCID) is a locally-led learning initiative to strengthen core journalism skills across the Indo-Pacific. Combining self-paced online learning with local facilitation, the program builds ethical, inclusive, and impactful journalism practices among early-career and experienced journalists working in the region.
