Vinita Israni is a designer and leader with over a decade of global experience across aviation, mobility, and commercial domains. She currently leads the Virtual Reality program within Flight Training at Qantas, here she translates strategic thinking into thoughtful, immersive learning systems. Her career spans roles as a product design lead at Amazon Alexa and GE, and as an innovation strategist at Qantas and Greenfield Labs, bringing a human- and humanity-centered approach to complex service design challenges.

Vinita holds a Master’s degree in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University and studied studio art and psychology at Rice University, grounding her work in both systems thinking and deep empathy. A passionate advocate for community and mental wellbeing, she currently leads the Sydney chapter of Therapy for Designers — a global movement fostering in-person conversations around the emotional and professional realities of creative work.
