Eisuke Tachikawa, founder and head of NOSIGNER, focuses on creating a hopeful future.

His projects tackle social issues like climate change, renewable energy, disaster prevention, and community revitalisation.

He advocates “Evolutional Creativity,” which tells the essence of creativity from the natural phenomenon of biological evolution, earning him the Shichihei Yamamoto Prize.

He chairs the Benesse Educational Research & Development Institute’s “Future of Higher Education” group, aiming to spread creative education. Tachikawa, a prolific designer, has won 100+ awards globally, including the Japan Good Design Gold Award and Design for Asia Grand Award.

He became the youngest President of Japan Industrial Design Association in 2021 and joined the World Design Organization’s (WDO) board in 2023. His projects include OLIVE, Tokyo Disaster Prevention, PANDAID, and more.

He authored “Evolutionary Creativity” (2021) and “Design and Innovation” (2016).
