Blake has over 25 years of international experience blending strategy, creativity, technology, and business insight into innovative solutions for our dynamic, connected world. 

Building teams that design products & services that span the Physical – Digital, delivering meaningful and magical user experiences for people in their everyday lives.

After studying product design at Victoria University, New Zealand, Blake spent 6 years at innovative appliance maker, Fisher & Paykel. Then on to New York to spend 6 years at the renowned studio, Smart Design. He then spent the next 6 years setting up and running Smart’s European office in Barcelona.

After 6-years running his own agency, Zinc Innovation, Blake joined forces with Mormedi in 2020 to spearhead creative and technical direction.

He has guided design & innovation programs across multiple categories for global brands like Airbus, Alstom, HP, Hyperloop, Nestle, Novo Nordisk, Samsung, Steelcase and Unilever while nurturing numerous successful startups.
