Ben is a strategist, facilitator, designer, illustrator, and author, with over 25 years’ expertise in strategy and design, user research, visualisation and facilitation.

While having designed a broad range of digital products and services, his proudest moments have been when he gets to design how people work together better.

These moments have been with groups as diverse as enterprise leadership teams, Parliament House ministers and staff, startup founders, agile teams, and school boards.

He was also one of the original creators of the much-loved Atlassian Team Playbook.

Currently Ben heads up Bright Pilots (a visual facilitation consultancy) as Principal Facilitator. He is also the author of several books, including Presto Sketching and 50 Remote-Friendly Icebreakers.
