Anthony McGinness

POLICY DESIGN JUROR

Anthony is EY Future Friendly’s Policy Design Director. He leads projects that bring together government, citizens and the community to design better public policy together. Anthony champions collaborative, action-biased and iterative ways of working to address complex public policy challenges. This often involves finding innovative ways to define, prototype and test new programs, policies and propositions. He is passionate about the power of prototyping policy to build confidence and momentum in complex future states, and bridge the gap between policy and service delivery.

Anthony has worked as an adviser to government and not-for-profit organisations for over fifteen years. He partners with clients to adopt user-centred research and design practices to drive better policy outcomes and improve service delivery. He has worked across a diverse range of clients and design projects including co-designing youth justice policy, conducting design research for a range of future education offerings, and advising on how to design more inclusive and effective government services.
