Abigail Hoover is a multimedia designer and user researcher specializing in space technology, sustainability, and human-centered innovation. With a dual MA/MSc in Global Innovation Design from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, she combines systems thinking with visual storytelling to translate complex technical ideas into impactful narratives. Abigail has led strategy and communication initiatives for aerospace startups, served as a facilitator for the World Design Organization’s Young Designers Circle, and contributed to mission branding for in-orbit servicing ventures. Her work spans global presentations, from the International Astronautical Congress to the World Design Assembly, where she advocates for design’s role in shaping sustainable futures. As co-founder of Orbiventure, she drives venture strategy and brand development in the aerospace sector, helping companies gain traction with investors and commercial partners. Her practice is rooted in interdisciplinary collaboration, visual clarity, and a commitment to design-driven change.
