Paul Cohen


Paul Cohen was born on 4 June 1962 in Queensland Australia and graduated in 1985 from Adelaide University as an Industrial Designer. Paul has won numerous design awards, including the coveted Australian Good Design Award of the Year, Good Design Award (USA), Red Dot Design Award (Germany) and Gold iF Design Award (Germany).

Best recognised for his home appliance design, Paul has designed for brands that include CanonElectroluxBreville Group AustraliaJohnson & Johnson, Eveready, Midea, ZTE, Eco Smart FireplacesBork (Russia), Ariette (Italy) and Cos Beauty (Japan).

Paul’s products have won in excess of 100 design awards globally and have featured on the covers of Vogue Living, Belle, Wallpaper and Interiors magazines.

In addition, his iconic Eveready sports gear flashlight designed in 1993 is now listed in the Smithsonian Museum.

Over a 37-year career, Paul has directed the design of some 500 products, sold in more than 50 countries. Paul Cohen Design Studio is now acknowledged as a leading product design consultancy in the Asia-Pacific region.
