Daniel So

Daniel is an award winning Sydney-based industrial designer providing innovative technology focused design solutions to clients internationally. With over 16 years of industry experience, he has developed products in industries including scientific, public infrastructure, mining, medical, lighting, furniture, EV charging and more.  

Daniel is the principal of Daniel So Design, an industrial design consultancy providing product development and design services in Australia, Europe and the USA.

Daniel’s work has been recognized with numerous accolades including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award and several Good Design Awards, and his designs have been featured in publications such as Indesign, Inside Magazine and DesignBoom.

His design focus on emerging and disruptive technologies has been fostered by a master’s degree from the Technical University of Berlin in Innovation Management.

In addition to his consulting work, Daniel is passionate about design education and currently teaches product design at the University of Technology Sydney.
