Adam Goodrum

As one of Australia’s leading Industrial Designers, Adam Goodrum is world-renowned for his design innovation and distinct Australian aesthetic. Focusing on furniture, product, and interior design, Goodrum delivers progressively original, intelligent and award-winning collections, highly regarded for commercial and retail applications. Working with Tait, Goodrum has designed the iconic Volley collection, Trace collection and Element fire pit.

Adam Goodrum grew up in Perth, where his interest in Industrial Design was first established at school to further materialise through his passion for art, maths and making. Goodrum subsequently relocated to Sydney to study a Bachelor of Industrial Design at the University of Technology (UTS), where a career in product design followed soon after.

Goodrum has received various prestigious accolades including Denfair’s ‘Best Australian Designer’ 2017, Denfair’s ‘Best Product’ 2017 for Tait’s Trace collection,  Sydney Morning Herald Young Designer of the Year Award, the Bombay Sapphire Design Award, Vogue x Alessi Design Prize, Indesign ’s Luminary Award and Idea Awards Editor’s Medal. In 2015, Goodrum’s Unfolding installation notably won the NGV’s Riggs Design Prize.
